It’s Okay Not To Know Everything

Are you feeling lost and starting to lose motivation on what you are doing? Well, you are not alone because everyone may experience the same thing as yours. I’m not sure if that is what they call ‘identity crisis’ but what I’m sure of is that it doesn’t bring happiness.

Everyone that I know has admitted that they had gone through the same phase too. Where they just woke up one day, feeling empty and they don’t know what to do about it. So I came up with the idea that maybe, it’s part of our lives and we have to face it whether we like it or not.

I get envious of people who already know what they want to do with their lives from the first start. Sometimes, I have to get into my memory lane over and over again so I can figure out what part of it is what truly makes me happy. I’ve mentioned on my first blog post that I’m into creating art (painting, sketching). But as the days went by, I met so many people along the way who have the same hobby as mine. I got scared for some reason. Probably because I realized that I’m not the only one who can draw or paint and that other people can do a lot better than me. And that was the time I decided to shift my focus on doing something else instead of continuing with my first passion. Yes, I easily get disappointed and that’s not a good attitude. But maybe that’s also a sign given to me saying that it’s not for me. That I should be doing something else; somewhere I can bring out the best of me.

Frankly, at the age of 25, I still don’t know what I want to do with my life but that’s okay. Life would be boring if we already know what it can bring to us, right? That’s why I chose to enjoy it instead of worry. I keep on trying to search for something that I really want to do for the rest of my life but it’s still nowhere to be found. So, I decided to stop looking for it and just do what I feel like doing every time I wake up.

If you start to feel sad and lost for no reason, I advise you to not think too much. Be more positive and focus on the things that make you happy and grateful to have. Think that it’s just another challenge that you need to overcome and that everything happens for a reason.
