The month of September is about to end and obviously, I didn’t plan to just sleep for this whole month and wait for someone to wake me up when it ends. As you may know, my title is from a song from the early 2000s which I haven’t heard since I was in high school. I still can’t believe that the first ber month in the calendar is about to finish! We may not notice it but for sure, a lot of things happened to each of us since the first day of this month begins. Although I keep my journal and to-do list updated, there are other things I don’t write in it. I seldom write about my problems in it because I feel like I’ll still be reminded what was I feeling that time when I wrote about it.
I’ve mentioned on one of my posts that September is my Mom’s birth month. We celebrated it in a simple way and at peace. We also made a plan to start decorating our home for Christmas maybe before this month ends. As I write this, I’m starting to feel sleepy. I woke up at around 4 am again and got up at 5 am because it was raining hard last night so in the morning, it was so cold and I felt lazy to get up right away. My Mom left for work at 8 am and I washed clothes at 9 then made fried rice for brunch at 9:30 this morning. This morning too, I had a video call with my SO and we just laughed the whole time. He always has this charm that makes me laugh even if he doesn’t say anything. Then my sister helped me give the pigs a bath because the weather today is too hot. They’re not just animals to us, they’re also part of our family and a great help when we need money for an emergency so we give back to them by taking care of them.
After I write this, I’m planning to read a few pages of a classic book, Twelve Years a Slave. I’ve started watching the movie adaptation of this book but I still haven’t finished it yet because I tend to forget about it. Before this month is over, I’m about to finish watching the last season of Rick and Morty which my SO recommended to watch.
All of our 5 dogs and a cat are taking their naps right now. They’ll be active again when my Mom is home. Instead of taking a nap, I’ll just exercise, do some squats and planking. Later, I’ll feed the pigs and dogs then take a bath, wait for the dinner to be ready. This is just another normal day for me but still, it’s still special because everyone that I love is in a good condition.
Thank you so much for reading!
